Hi! I am Jewelz a celebrity cosmetic chemist and creator of CocoLube. About 10 years ago I was working in a cosmetic lab trying to replace silicones in beauty products. Silicones have great sensorial aspects to them but they are rapidly being kicked out of beauty formulations because of some suspected health risks. I made over 500 silicone replacements of various ingredients and ratios until I found my absolute favorite blend. 

When I was working as a bench chemist I often I had my work on my night stand as I would quickly try my own products at home to make sure I loved them enough to recommend them to clients. I had the silly idea of trying it as a lube. I mean after all our private parts should be subject to silicones either.
